You will get a JB eGift Card and/or JB Coupon within 10 minutes of completing the online transaction steps. eGift Cards can be used to buy anything you choose from JB-HI-FI’s website or in-store. JB Coupons can be used to get discounts off identified products only. Trade-ins of some devices may only entitle you to get a JB Coupon which can be used to get a discount off identified new JB Hi-Fi products.
*Please note we will need to take a credit card pre-authorisation (through Stripe) until we receive your device back to secure the JB eGift card. This will be released once we process your device.
Gift Cards and JB Coupons cannot be used in JB Hi-Fi’s airport locations
STEP 4
We’ll send you a return paid postage label with NZ Post, all you need to do is bring it to your local Post shop.
STEP 5
Device assessment & pre-authorisation release

We’ll receive your device in our processing facility, once it’s confirmed to match what you submitted, we will release the pre authorisation back to you.
If you are entitled to receive a JB eGift Card, please be advised that as you will receive that JB eGift Card before we receive your device we may need to charge your credit card the value of the JB eGift Card if we don’t receive your device within 6 working days of you receiving the JB eGift card.
